CPA Technology Advisor's 2007 Readers' Choice Awards
Intuit - The Readers' Choice
Thanks to the support of our customers, Intuit's products have been voted as #1 in 10 categories of
The CPA Technology Advisor annual Readers' Choice Awards "We strive for 5-star reviews from editors,
but we're really thrilled when we receive the 'people's choice' awards because they come from our
customers - the accountants," says Jill Ward, Vice President and General Manager of the Accounting
Professionals Division."
The CPA Technology Advisor commented on Intuit's ecosystem of products and customers, noting that "professional accountants are embracing QuickBooks for client-side business management" and that the "professional version of the program [QuickBooks] took the write-up category." Reflecting the tremendous growth in the customer base for QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions, that product won the Mid-Range Accounting category, with 60% of the votes.
Intuit's wins weren't just on the accounting side of things, either. The professional tax offerings had an excellent showing, as well. The Lacerte Tax Planner came in at No. 1; Lacerte and ProSeries landed in the No. 2 and 3 spots in the survey; and the Lacerte Document Management System claimed a No. 2 win. "Not surprisingly, Intuit's ProSeries and Lacerte brands, which together command a large share of the market, took top spots in the Tax Compliance category," according to The CPA Technology Advisor.
The CPA Technology Advisor's Readers' Choice Awards is labeled as the voice to vendors and peers on technology products and services.
