Intuit's first ever user conference aimed solely at accounting professionals gives us a chance to get as much detail out to you as possible so you can decide if you would benefit from attendance. While in years past there have been Lacerte user conferences, this is our first broader outreach to include practitioners from both the financial accounting and the tax side of the workflow. (Note: An earlier version of this newsletter incorrectly switched the cities where the two conferences are being held. Intuit apologizes for the error and any inconvenience that we may have caused. The dates shown below are corrected in red).
There is a limited time offer of $599* per person (regularly $699), includes conference and some meals. The fee does not include airfare, hotel rooms and other expenses.
Note. This special offer is valid only when you register for the Intuit Accounting User Conference by May 1, 2008.
*Terms, conditions, pricing, features, support and service options are subject to change at anytime without notice.
Choose at Conference. Attendees can attend six courses, and can make their final selection at the conference. Please note that some courses will be held simultaneously, which may limit your ability to attend all of your preferred courses. Courses are offered at both locations, unless otherwsie noted.
We Have You Covered. Conference attendees will be given access to the detailed step-by-step handbooks that accompany the software-based courses. If you have to miss one of the software-based conferences because of a conflict, you will still be able to learn back at your office if you missed a presentation at the conference.
Many Course Outlines Now Available. We wanted to get you all the information currently available about the courses. Where available, the following links include detailed course descriptions in Word format, including prerequisities, recommended hours of CPE credit, and more. Just click on the link and Open or Save the document.
* Optional Wednesday evening offering.
*Optional Wednesday evening offering.
Whether you choose Orlando, Florida or San Diego, California, we think you will be pleased by the family-friendly opportunities in these two resort cities.
Note: Each conference is scheduled for a Thursday and Friday, with optional sessions Wednesday evening. Some attendees may want to extend their stay into the weeked for a short vacation.
The IRS will be attending both Intuit User Conferences to answer questions and provide tax tips. In particular, we expect IRS representatives to have more information about the Schedule C changes for 2008 returns.
