Intuit has broken the one million mark now with more than one million active customers across its payroll business.*
With more customers than either ADP or PayChex,
Intuit Payroll solutions now provide paychecks for over 12 million employees.
Practitioners are finding more ways to add value to their clients' payroll efforts with QuickBooks Payroll. Read how they do it here.
*NOTE: The one million total includes customers of Standard Payroll, Enhanced Payroll, Enhanced Payroll for Accountants, Assisted Payroll, Complete Payroll, Premier Payroll, Online Edition Payroll, and QuickPayroll. Over 90% of this total are from QuickBooks Payroll solutions.
New Payroll Offering. For clients with one to three employees who process their own payroll, QuickBooks Basic Payroll (Limited Employees) is a new offering designed just for them.
First Year Price of $69. Basic Payroll (Limited Employees) is priced at $69 for the first year, and $99 for subsequent years. Basic Payroll (Limited Employees) will be available April 2.
The product
Last month Intuit announced that it will sell its fully outsourced payroll business to Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP). All Intuit Premier Payroll customers, and some Intuit Complete Payroll customers, are being transitioned. (Complete Payroll customers will move to ADP if they enter payroll data by phone or fax or use certain add-on discontinued services.
