Myers - DeScherer Corporate Tax Preparers Could Face Much Higher Income Taxes. The Tax Court recently ruled that tax preparation businesses can be treated like corporate CPA offices and other Personal Service Corporations, subject to a tax rate of 35% on the first and every dollar earned.
