QuickBooks ProAdvisor® Sweepstakes

A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older who are accounting professionals. The QuickBooks ProAdvisor® Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") starts on or about October 1, 2007 at 12:01 A.M. Pacific Time (PT) and ends on August 31, 2008 at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Time (PT) (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Sponsor reserves the right to request supporting documentation in order to confirm potential winner's eligibility. Sweepstakes is offered only for those entering from within the United States and is void where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER.  During the Sweepstakes Period, visit http://proadvisor.intuit.com/content/program/overview.jhtml proadvisor and follow the on-line instructions to view a short flash tour on the website. Once you have viewed the short video, you are invited to register to enter for a chance to win a free program membership. Limit one entry per person/email address. By entering the sweepstakes, you are granting permission to be contacted by Intuit regarding their products and services. Intuit Inc. ("Sponsor") and its agencies are not responsible for unauthorized human intervention, phone, technical, network, electronic, computer, hardware or software failures, malfunctions or disconnects of any kind (including but not limited to problems/errors in the product registration process), or misdirected, illegible, incomplete, stolen, garbled, fragmented or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions or network/ISP/website Internet accessibility/availability; or for inaccurate, incorrect or incomplete capture of information, regardless of cause. Entries will be deemed to have been made by the person named on the entry.

DRAWINGS. The winners will be selected in four random drawings on or about the dates as noted below from all eligible entries received during the designated period:

Entries not selected during that period will be carried over into subsequent drawings. Winners will be notified by phone and will be required to sign and return a liability/publicity release within a specified timeframe prior to award of prize. Intuit will conduct the drawing and notify potential winners accordingly. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these official rules and the judges' decisions.

PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV)/ODDS OF WINNING:  Four  (4) GRAND PRIZES (One awarded in each of the 4 drawings):  QuickBooks ProAdvisor® Core Program. ARV $449.00 each. Total ARV of all prizes: $1,796.00. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the drawing date. Limit one (1) prize per person/e-mail address. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions, except in Sponsor's sole discretion.

RELEASES: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold Intuit Inc., its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, harmless from and against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this Sweepstakes. Except where legally prohibited, winners grant (and agree to confirm that grant in writing) permission for Intuit Inc., and those acting under its authority to use winner's name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and on the World Wide Web, without notice, review or approval.

ELIGIBILITY: Employees, officers and directors of Intuit Inc. its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, and production agencies, Web masters and Web suppliers, their immediate family members (parents, grandparents, children, siblings, and spouse of any of the foregoing) regardless of where they live and individuals residing in their same household, whether related or not, are not eligible to participate. In the event that prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Any form of Internet/e-mail participation other than as set forth in these Official Rules is prohibited. Use of automated, robotic, programmed and like methods of online participation are prohibited. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the Sweepstakes or Web site, or who are in violation of the Terms and Conditions of Use of the website, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be disqualified. Sponsor may also prosecute such persons to the full extent of the law. Should the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, fraud, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, proper play, or submission of entries for the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. In such event, winners will be selected in a random drawing comprised of all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, and assumes no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of the Web site. By entering, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. By entering, entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Mountain View, California.
