Bill Teague November 2008.
Many of you have asked us to update our rates survey, and a new effort is under way in the last few months of 2008. We expect to publish these results early in 2009. The best way to see the results?
You can participate in the survey or you simply subscribe to Intuit ProConnection.

(Note: Participants in the survey get an early look at the survey results.)

Following is our coverage for our last survey.

Intuit frequently conducts an informal survey each year of practitioners like you to get a sense of what rates are being charged in the United States for bookkeeping and QuickBooks-related services. We've sliced and diced the information to be of as much use to you as possible.

Caveats. This is not a scientific survey, and in the market, you get to choose whatever rates you wish. However, we frequently are asked what other practitioners are charging, so we report back to you on our poll. At a minimum we believe these numbers are useful for you as one more data point, the next time you decide to review your rates.
