As part of Intuit's continuing initiative to provide opportunities for QuickBooks ProAdvisors in the US, Canada, and the UK, we are currently recruiting well-qualified speakers
and writers for the Intuit Accounting Professionals Trainer/Writer Network. If selected to become a
member of this program, you will:
Gain access to exclusive tools and resources only available to this
network including content and a private discussion group. We also invest in
you through various training sessions on how to be a better presenter and
writer and more.
Be offered opportunities to write and develop training Intuit materials.
Be offered opportunities to present on topics of interest to other
accounting professionals and small business owners -- thus elevating your
status within your community and potentially on a national scale!
Speaking engagements may include, but are not limited to:
State, regional, and national accounting association and CPA Society
meetings
Small Business Development Center events geared towards trainers and
small business owners
Chamber of Commerce events
Government-sponsored workforce training classes
Collegiate events
National or regional trade shows and expos
Retail events and demonstrations
Non-accounting association meetings (e.g., National or local
Marketing Associations)
We also encourage you to find or conduct your own events for which
we may provide support
Depending upon the event or project, you may be compensated for your time,
either by Intuit, or by the external organization directly.
Applicant Qualifications:
In order to be considered, applicants must demonstrate qualification in the
following mandatory areas:
All applicants in the
US and
Canada must be a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor
with current certification status (Advanced Certification preferred but not
required)
Applicants must have at least three years of experience as an accounting
professional
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to answer questions related to
accounting and QuickBooks
Applicants must hold extensive knowledge of all current versions of QuickBooks.
Ideally, Candidates will also demonstrate the following qualifications as well:
A minimum of four speaking and/or teaching engagements in the past year
One year experience in technical writing or development of training content
Applicants will ideally hold extensive knowledge of the Intuit product line,
which could include the various versions of QuickBooks, QuickBooks Point of
Sale, QuickBooks Merchant Services, QuickBooks Payroll products, or Intuit
professional tax products (ProSeries or Lacerte)
