Intuit Speakers Bureau Application

As part of Intuit's continuing initiative to provide opportunities for Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors, we are currently recruiting well-qualified speakers for the Intuit Accountant Speakers Bureau. If selected to be a speaker in this program, you would present Intuit-created presentations on topics of interest to accountants and end-users -- thus elevating your status within these communities.

Members of the Intuit Accountant Speakers Bureau will be selected on the basis of the following qualifications:

• Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with current certification status
• At least three years of experience in the accounting industry
• A minimum of four speaking and/or stand-up teaching engagements in the past year
• Ability to answer questions related to accounting and QuickBooks
• Knowledge of the QuickBooks product line, including the various versions of QuickBooks, QuickBooks Point of Sale, QuickBooks Merchant Services, or QuickBooks Payroll products

Members of the Intuit Accountant Speakers Bureau will be granted access to presentation materials, as well as products to give away in door prize drawings. Intuit will give Speakers Bureau members the opportunity to present at Intuit-sponsored speaking engagements, and will support members at selected self-created events. Members may be compensated for their time and mileage, depending upon the event.

Speaking engagements may include, but are not limited to:

• State, regional, and national accounting association and CPA Society meetings
• Small Business Development Center events geared towards trainers and end users
• Chamber of Commerce events
• Government-sponsored workforce training classes
• Collegiate events
• Secondary school career day events
• National or regional trade shows and expos
• Retail events and demonstrations
• Non-accounting association meetings (e.g., American Marketing Association)

All applications will be carefully reviewed and considered. Those Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors selected will be contacted for a telephone interview. If you are not currently a member of the QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program, you may join at http://proadvisor.intuit.com/content/program/overview.jhtml. To become Certified, upon joining the program you will find the certification courses in your online Course Locker. Once you become Certified, you may then apply to the Speakers Bureau.
